Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack2

This version of WindowsXP contains a Security Center, in addition to other valuable upgrades to Windows. You should be running this already. However, to check whether you are running SP2, you can hold down the Control | Alt | Del buttons on your keyboard.

This will give you the Windows Task Manager window:

Now select the “Help” menu and then select the “About Task Manager” item.

This gives you this window which shows the Version of Windows you are running and whether or not you have Service Pack 2.

Otherwise use this link and download Windows SP2 from the link at the right of the page that comes up. You will be given full instructions on how to install it. Note that the Windows Security Center is installed at the same time.
